After listening to eight songs from distinct genres, I created 12x12" art pieces after listening to the rhythm, lyrics, backstory, and references from each audible work.

Each piece was created within one week in Procreate and was done in part to enhance my understanding of advancing my digital drawing skills.

  • Vibrant cave with ambiguous figure made out of different layers of cave leading to mysterious beach with green sand, pink skies, and purple waves.

  • Floating candle wax table with two intimate figures shaping the large candle lit in the center of the table, igniting the flame through their love. There is also a wine glass and plate on each side of the candle.

  • Black trans woman steps on U.S. military hat which creates a pool of blood underneath. The background consists of greyscale resembling the Compton Riot of 1966.

  • Dragon fruit personified with an open mouth and a little alien creature walking out of it. IN front of the dragon fruit head are two blue tentacles covering the areas of where eyes would be on a face, and a horn impaling both tentacles bleeding.

  • Genderqueer person with black and red hair and solemn face stares at viewer in a clear box. People surround person gawking at them with hateful speech and body language.

  • A zebra and brown horse bump butts scandalously in an outdoor field setting of both of their habitats morphed together.

  • Stylistic white dove on left with a human eye on its wing staring at the viewer bows down to the bird of paradise flower in center. Right side of piece depicts the silhouette of a dove in vibrant colors.
