Eugene, Oregon
2025
Within this series, I researched the history of Eugene, Oregon and veered off from the historical timeline following the 1851 winter flooding. From this point in time, my timeline begins with the flooding increasing and turning Eugene into a deep swamp, where a new population is naturally born in its environment: Creuthanae Peri.
Perinians are swamp-like creatures who are able to live both in and out of water. They eat bullfrogs, fish, dragonflies, and despise the human race. Included within this project are artifacts from the Perinians as well as documentation from modern-day archaeologists studying these extinct creatures.
