Drawing from my adolescence, this piece combines elements from my childhood and the present day through this mixed-media project conducted to represent my indigenous-mexican, queer, and trans identities.

Through the representation of a common aztec pattern from ancient history, the utilization of my childhood blanket my parents always kept in the car from the past, and the photoshoot all done independently during the making of this project, I present aspects of identity that are timeless: mexican people inspired by aztec culture, queer people, and people beyond the gender binary who will always continue to exist in a world constructed to erase non-western histories.
